You know, for his study on Ted Bundy Zac ought to read Octave Mireau's The Torture Garden, de Quincey's On Murder as one of the Fine Arts and Joris-Karl Huysmans La Bas. The first two are firmly rooted in satire (Mireau's criticism of The Dreyfus Affair and de Quincey's mockery of Kant) while La Bas uses Giles de Rais as a means of exploring ancient and contemporary black masses. The emphasis in these works is not the gruesome deed but rather how we socially and historically construct murder / narratives of murder. They are examples of the philosophy of murder so to speak, which are interesting intellectually.

A coy Zac responded with: 'Nothing but a shared...love of pickles,' before adding fuel to the relationship fire with: 'So far.'

Oh honey, I knew that a long time ago, even when everyone was insisting you didn't. Just remember, an occasional peach never hurt anyone. Both are fruit, after all. (-;
