Sydney Morning Herald: Zac Efron, Adam DeVine go west to the delight of noisy Sydney fans
Eardrums were left ringing following the Australian premiere of Zac Efron's new movie, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates.
Thousands of screaming fans pushed their lungs to full capacity to welcome the Hollywood actor and his co-star, Modern Family's Adam DeVine, in Parramatta in Sydney's west.
"It's mayhem. I feel like Mike and Dave is the last Harry Potter movie or something," DeVine said on the red carpet.
Efron, who's A-list dating history includes his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens and model Sami Miro, admitted find a wedding date in real life came pretty easy to him.
"I think I've had mine lined up. I've only been to like four weddings," Efron said.
Efron has been getting in shape for his upcoming role in the new Baywatch movie, but that didn't seem to help him on the AFL [Sydney Swans] ground.
He said he couldn't play the game.
"Not in any capacity," Efron said.
"It's very challenging."
