I like that international poster for Mike and Dave.

Nice pictures. Looks like some action on Bawatch set.
But i miss news about Zacs future projects there is somerhing?

Apparently not. He has a small part in The Disaster Artist, which hasn't been released yet. So, when Baywatch screens next year, it may be the last time we see Zac on the big screen.

Hope and faith, baby, hope and faith.

So, now i'm scared!!!

Come on, kleth. This is completely silly to say.

He has 2 movies wrapped (plus a cameo) and is filming another one. This is basically more than he had at any time in the past.

And just because he hasn't announced anything new yet, doesn't mean it's not happening. Most actors don't have tons movies lined up far in advance (aside a few very in demand ones and people who have sequels) and all those actors do work again. If he has all his movies released and he still hasn't announced anything new NEXT summer, than you can start to worry about his career (but not if he's ever working again). No offense but complaining about him not working enough at this point is ridiculous.

Would I love if he had announced his next project already? Sure (well, if the project is good; I rather have no project than some crap.) I think he's doing better when he's working. But aside from the fact that we don't know if he already has something which is just not announced yet (eg I do know about a project he's associated with which might film this fall but there are still too many variables so I don't want to say more at this point), even if he has nothing lined up yet that does not spell any doom at all. Sometimes it's better to wait things out instead of rushing it. Perhaps he/his people expect his situation to change with the release of his 2 next movies or things are just not certain yet. Perhaps he hasn't found the project he wants to do next yet. I rather have him wait another 6 months to commit something good instead of signing up for another crappy comedy. He needs to find a good project, not a fast one.

Either way, this is really unnecessary panic mongering. There is more than enough time to find a project until NEXT summer when his current projects are released.

We agree completely.

I was responding to a question, "does he have anything scheduled for the future?" You confirmed my response: No.

Of course he has probably got several scripts he has been reading and holding meetings with the attached directors and studio suits. But until we get some news, we cannot say that he will ever appear on the big screen again. There's no evidence available, only hope and faith.

I was being intentionally "silly" with my response, since the initial poster seemed a little concerned and I thought I would play the game another round. You may have noticed that I am often silly, sardonic, or satirical on this site. Can't be helped, it's who I am.

The problem with the Internet is that we cannot see each other's facial expression or hear the tone of voice. This leads to many misimpressions and explains much of the flame wars that erupt on almost every comment list.

He hasn't announced any project he will film next yet but I'm sure he and his people are working in the background. But it's really nothing to worry about. He has enough in the can and plenty of time to find something he likes.

I figured Keith was joking, but I still liked reading everything you wrote. I agree with every word. I like this kind of discussion. I also like learning that you know of some possibilities in the works, though I would assume that would be the case anyway. He also might be waiting to see if his pay jumps up after N2--or waiting to switch gears again. I notice he tends to do a certain type of film several times and then switches it up.

IMHO as long as Zac doesn't lose his looks before he's 50 (because men can be old in Hollywood) he has a long career ahead of him. He's a man. He's good looking. He works hard. He does what he's asked. All things Hollywood likes. He's also willing to take small pay to do indies or small parts with good directors or people he likes. He can jump around genres. He'll be fine. If his movies do poorly he can go to TV or Broadway and build up his career again. When someone is already IN, has a built in fanbase, has talent and is willing to put in the work, they can last. He knows how to reincarnate.

"I notice he tends to do a certain type of film several times and then switches it up."

He's now done three dildo movies, so maybe Neighbors 2 will wrap up that phase of his career.

"...as long as Zac doesn't lose his looks before he's 50"

Well, yes, let's hope he can mature gracefully. But I would guess that his good looks have also held him back. Apparently, producers and studio execs can't picture this dreamboat doing well in action or serious drama roles. He had to go to little indie projects to do some straight drama. I suppose his looks could be considered distracting in serious dramatic roles where his looks weren't important.

Yes, I agree.

It's silly, but it gave me happy feeling when DJ shared that high pitch screams announce Zac's arrival. I guess Zac can't sneak up on anybody. :D

If Zac was a lifeguard at my beach I would so pretend I was drowning and hold my breath so he had to give me mouth to mouth resuscitation.

Yes, that would be fun, especially when you discover his secret method of preventing you from swallowing your tongue.
