Great to see him go back to work. Now we need to keep our fingers crossed that the movie will be ok. I don't have the biggest confidence in the writers and the director but hopefully Dwayne will compensate for it.

They had a table read on Sunday with all of the key cast so things are definitely in motion.

I hope the weather plays along when filming starts next week; it seemed to be quite windy and they had a massive rainstorm in Miami today.

You are so right. Most problems begin with, and can be most easily fixed at, the script stage. Then comes the director's execution of that script. Zac should be thrilled to be making this movie, since he loves that "all or nothing", hit or flop, danger.

Ha ha. The east coast weather has been terrible for weeks, all the way from the tip of Florida to the top of Maine. They should have stayed in SoCal; the beach weather has been gorgeous.

He's looking so good these days, and I like his sweatpants. I have some like that (dropped gusset) and they're so comfortable.

The weather on the East Coast has not been entirely bad. In Mississippi it's gone from bipolar disorder into full blown psychosis. One day it's 75, then we have a tornado, and the next day it's 58. Then another tornado, and it's 75. It's leveled out in the 70's for the next month (with the exception of next Wed at 58), so we're not complaining (70's in February is unheard of).

If it's in the 70's here, though, that usually indicates the 80's for Miami - which probably means lots of fun for Zac, and maybe some large waves for surfing if he can find them.

Another random Efron
Rebel Wilson was on Ellen on Friday and played "Who Would You Rather?" Ellen presented images of Justin Bieber and one of the boy band guys, and Rebel chose Bieber. Then Ellen offered Bieber and Bradley Cooper. Rebel remained faithful to the Biebs. Then Ellen paired Bieber with Zac (a shirtless photo, of course) and Rebel chose Zac. Well, I suppose it wasn't really a choice.

Ha ha. Now, whenever Miro resists gratifying Zac's insatiable lust, he can point out that he has a ready alternative.

Side note: It seems that Dirty Grandpa played its last theater on Thursday. Total domestic revenue stands at $33.8 million. Not quite as good as The Lucky One, but not an embarrassment either. Onward to bigger and better things! (I hope.)

Re: Another random Efron
Dirty Grandpa is still playing. It's normal that after a certain time studios don't report every single day anymore. First, they skip the Fri/Sat estimates and only report the full weekend estimates, then only actuals (and skipping estimates altogether) and at some point there will be no weekdays and only a weekly update. It varies by studio too.

OK. I was deceived by the fact that Box Office Mojo dropped DG from its daily list on Friday. On Thursday, it was listed as Number 14 at the box office.

Re: Another random Efron
I'm wondering why they haven't reported the worldwide totals on box office mojo.

Happy to see him on his way to work. I'll bet this will be a good shoot. I don't know about the movie, but I'm really confident about Mike and Dave being good. I suspect Baywatch will wind up being surprisingly good. We'll see.

As of 2/18/16, the world wide total is $63.9 million

Good. I thought this kind of raunchy comedy would play better to overseas audiences than some of Zac's other films. Vulgarity, profanity, and obscenity has multi-cultural appeal.
