CONFLICTING EMOTIONS

zac looks good, cady in your opinion is this some pr thing on zac to draw the negative attention on him being out of rehab and etc? because honestly ive heard stories of lily and what she does?

there has to be a narrative about this whole rehab and recovery thing. his pr people would not be doing his job if they weren't managing this and trying to make it as positive as possible. and hopefully positive not just in terms of his image but in terms of his well-being.

zac had to be photographed by the paparazzi for the first time since the story broke at some point so ofc they are going to try and make that as nice and easy for him as possible.

to that end, and the bigger point here is that, being real friends or even dating can exist at the same time as being photographed in a pr way (for whatever purpose). relationships, personal events/hobbies/etc. they are all leveraged in the best way possible. and that is basically what i think is happening here (and the other day w/ brittany and company). a re-introduction in pleasant company.

do i think people get together for the sole purpose of being photographed together? sure.

do i think zac and lily are only together here to be photographed? no.

do i think lily engages in fake relationships regularly (or at all)? i have no idea. i don't care enough to figure it out, lol. where she relates to zac i think it is a moot point. we know they hung out last year for reals and with little fanfare truly. yes, there was one set of pics and a few stories about them at the beginning and the stupidly overkill breaking up stories… but they hung out also with no media attention on them and they never talked about it (or leveraged it) in interviews for publicity.

so w/e. like i said below basically i'm happy it is her and not the tools that enabled him along his downward spiral.

I always get so frustrated when they don't tell which movie they watched :(

As for Lily... He needs to get out of the sort-of-isolation he's put himself in for the last weeks and she hadn't been part of his old circle of party/club friends, so this is good. Even if they both get publicity out of this, I don't see why him hanging with Lily is a negative thing. She seems like a nice enough girl and they got along last year. Or does anyone who is upset about this prefer to have him sit at home alone, or hang with some of the old crew? I sure hope not.

i dont think its that, but i think it's the whole lily dates her co-stars like taylor and then jamie what his face and then break ups with them right around promo and etc, i dont know if that's true but thats what ive heard tho, im sure lily is nice tho.

I find it amusing that people still think they have Zac all figured out, and know what every photo means, what every facial expression he makes means, and what every social encounter means.

The events of the past year should prove how little we actually know about his daily life.

question though: would it be a good idea to make an ontd post with these pics or no? cause look wise, it could go over well. but then again, there could be hate for him being with lily. so idk :/

amazes me how 80% of ontd are some kind of drug experts and act like they know what zac is on? he's honestly haven't been papped since september/ july-august,

I like these photos a lot.
To me it looks good for all reasons - PR, friendship, dating, well-being ... everything. They look good together.
LOL! It's funny, if they again went to Zac's movie.

Zac followed Lily on twitter. His recent tweets are signed "Z" and he followed personal friends like Rob Lowe and Lily Collins. Does that mean he started to take over his own twitter?

Obviously we don't ~know~ what their plans are but I suspect it's more temporary.

Part of it is Zac's image rehab and playing nicely with the fans is one component. The other thing is that That Awkward Moment is a wide release... the first one after TLO so it was always likely for him to be more active himself then. As for following Lily - that was his social media manager, I doubt Zac does even know.

What I don't get from this new friendship/relationship is why he or his team started immediately after the pictures came out, to follow Lilly on twitter, is just so ridiculous. I mean we get it, he's a good boy, trying to clean his image, but this is one of the most desperates moves from his team in the last years. We being so obvious? What do you think? Are they really dating? or is just a new move from Zac and his team?

It looks like his team want people to know about his friendship with Lily, yet they didn't immediately go to People or US Weekly to hype their outing. It's weird. I guess we'd better not think too much of what's going on with him/his team. From now on, I'll only focus on the fact he looks happy and lively lately. :)
