I'm glad it's not a poster where they tried to force all the actor faces onto but a conceptual one. The idea isn't bad but I think the execution could be a bit better. Like the tag line with the JFK assassination mention could be more visible/readable; now it's hard to see on a glance that it has something to do with JFK - idt the majority of people associates Parkland with the hospital where JFK died.

Anyway, the poster isn't the most critical thing and it's decent imo. They are really cutting it close with the trailer though. It's an indie but still 4 weeks is very, very short esp since the movie doesn't have much awareness. They better get a LOT of buzz from the festival premieres and put a significant amount of marketing into the last 4 week because they really need to make up for that lack of awareness because otherwise the movie will come and go unnoticed.

I think they'll probably use a "floating heads" poster for international releases.

I just realized that this is a teaser poster since it doesn't have full credits so we should be getting at least one more (unless they just put the credits on a second version but I hope we get something else).

Since it's a teaser poster, I like it better (not that I hated it before) because it's more about setting a tone and putting stuff out there to increase awareness.

Well, since it now got full credits, it might very well be the final poster now.

I like the new tagline better (it's also a bit more readable).

I just really like the simplicity of the poster

What I like is Zac getting the first spot with four other reputable actors. OK, so it's alphabetical, but it looks good.

So this is what we have to look forward to in an agony of patience:

Parkland - September 20
Are We Officially Dating - January 31
Townies - May 9

Any one of these may play in a theater near you . . . or not.

Am I forgetting something? I ask because until I started looking things up, I completely blanked on AWOD, forgot he'd ever made it. Hope the actual movie isn't similarly forgettable.
