My Baby! <3 He's wearing jeans that fit and he looks so good!
(Now I'm as happy as a little girl...)

"...and he looks so good!"

You and Seth Rogen:

"I had to stand shirtless next to Zac Efron all morning," Rogen told MTV News a couple weeks ago. "He literally has the best body I've ever seen on a human being ever in my life. We literally had to write in to the scene that I couldn't keep eye contact with him 'cause I kept just like reaching out and touching his body like I was seeing some magical mirage or something like that."

Hi there ehs_wildcats! I'm just an ordinary lurker who goes to your LJ to get updates about Zac, but I thought I'd try asking you something about because I have a feeling you wouldn't mind answering. I need a Zac expert! I can't find a good enough website about him to follow so I have difficulty trawling through his interviews. I just wanted to know if you could tell me any bands that you know from the top of your head that he likes. I remember only Yeah Yeah Yeah's and the Shins :( I'd appreciate your help. Thanks!

I'm not Cady, but I know that he likes Kings of Leon. Of course, the band is in limbo now, and who knows what will happen with them.

He also once said that his favorite band is probably The Beatles.

He also said he likes Joy Division - that's the only one I can remember because it's the only band he's mentioned that I actually like. He might like New Order as that's Joy Division without Ian Curtis.

From what I understand, though, he digs that rap crap - I mean, rap music, including that Wiz Kafka dude and Snoopy. (-:

You have to take his "favorites" statements with a grain of salt. Favorite band, favorite movie, etc., he almost never gives the same answer twice. The same applies to women actors. He has said "I have had a crush on her since forever" about every female co-star he has worked with.

I hope Tyra Banks does call him up. Make him put up or shut up. Put his mouth where his money is, or something like that.

I noticed that. He's either well-rounded with an appreciation of different types, styles, genres etc of music or he's a liar, lol. (-; The Beatles and rappers are pretty much diametrically opposed to each other, with the former being intellectual, political, and "deep" and the latter being anti-intellectual, criminal and shallow.

(Went through a phase where I owned all The Beatles albums)

There's a third possibility, that he's really not sure what he likes best and just says what appeals to him at the moment he is asked. I think he likes a wide variety of things (in movies, music, women) and "favorite" just isn't a controlling concept for him.

That's a really interesting idea, that Zac may not know himself fully to know what he likes, and might be persuaded by outside forces to prefer one thing over another without being conscious of the influence.

I can see him being easily led, not so much out of a lack of will on his part, but because he is unconsciously a people-pleaser - he wants others to be happy and he wants to be liked and feel "a part of" everything around him.

To know himself fully he would have to withdraw from the world and spend time in thought, but I don't see him doing that as he is very much constructed "in the world", he is very much within the daily activity of life -

- thank God (for him) that he doesn't approach the world with all these reflective processes perpetually running inside his head, with an internal noise that competes with the external noise for precedence. He is free from himself.

You are delving beyond my meaning. I also could not answer a "what is your favorite" question, regarding favorite book, movie, food, whatever. I just don't think in those terms. So I just wouldn't give an answer. But I'm not Zac Efron. Because, as you say, Zac wants to please others, he does give an answer, but it's just whatever he likes at the moment and that's why it varies with almost every interview.

wow aren't you so cool, dismissing an entire genre of music because it's something that you personally don't like. there are plenty of intellectual, philosophical and "deep" rappers out there that you could find with a little bit of a search beyond top 40 hits. your pseudo-psychological, right wing christian analyzing of things is absolutely ludicrous.
