Those are his favorite pair of pants, I think.

I'm glad he's back on a set and working. So yeah for that.

Aside from the shoes, this outfit is something he could be wearing himself. Looks good to me. Also like the hair.

I generally like Zac with scruff but I prefer well "balanced" scruff like he had eg during the NYE promo. Not a fan of the mustache and soulpatch heavy version like he's having it in those pics. Oh well, their decision. Perhaps it's slightly changing at some point during the movie; I hope it does but I'm not trying to get my hopes up. He also didn't seem to lose any face weight, so I guess Jason will have a chubby-mustachy look.

I'm curious who will fill the remaining roles. I'm sort of hoping we'll get a final announcement with an "x, y, z round out the cast" next week or so. Not that I expect any big names for the remaining parts (Zac, Miles, Michael & Imogen are the 4 biggest roles, every character beyond them is significantly smaller) but it would be nice to know at least the 2 other love interests via an official announcement. Although depending on their name recognition, we might have to suffice with learning it through social media or IMDb.

I saw another girls name added to the imdb page, but I didn't know if it was legit or not.
Beejeezbee on December 16th, 2012 11:48 pm (UTC)
I'm confident that it's legit. Kevin's wife is part of basically all movies they are producing.

Said that, she has only a bit part (unless they did some swap of character names which there is really no reason for and I don't expect in this case). Her scene is with Miles and his respective love interest btw, and not Zac.
Miranda gives everyone a chancemirandagirll on December 16th, 2012 11:53 pm (UTC)
Thank you.

I didn't expect her to be Zac's respective love interest, isn't that Imogen?
Beejeezbee on December 16th, 2012 11:55 pm (UTC)
Sorry, my comment might have been unclear.

No, she's not Zac's love interest, or anyone's for that matter. She has a bit part in a scene with Miles and Miles' so-far-unknown love interest.
Miranda gives everyone a chancemirandagirll on December 17th, 2012 12:01 am (UTC)
So Evelina is Miles love interest? And Imogen is no one's love interest? And does Michael not get a love interest at all?
Beejeezbee on December 17th, 2012 12:04 am (UTC)

Evelina has nothing to do with any of those love interest roles. She has only a bit part.

ETA: Oops. I think we got our wires crossed. I meant, that Evelina is nobody's love interest. I wasn't commenting on Imogen at all (and yes, she's Zac's love interest) but rather that she's not Miles' or Michael's love interest which I had been commenting on in my initial comment.

Okay, thank you. That's all I wanted to know. I thought I was crazy for a minute there. So do Miles and Michael not have love interests or are those parts really small?
Beejeezbee on December 17th, 2012 12:16 am (UTC)
Miles and Michael do have love interests too. They aren't bit parts but they are smaller than Imogen's part.

Oh, and allow me a rant... some fans on location are already grating on my nerves again.

I can't stand how entitled some people are. Just because Zac is not posing for a picture with you or acknowledging you when he's leaving the trailer and going to set, doesn't mean he's not nice or in a bad mood.

It only means, he's doing what he's paid to do: FOCUS ON HIS WORK. Just because no camera is rolling, doesn't mean he's not working. He might be trying to concentrate on his character, his lines, etc - even while he's walking to the set. And any interruption to pose, talk or take pictures with fans, might just be that: an INTERRUPTION OF HIS WORK. I can entirely understand that he wants his peace and distance from fans during the day, esp since it's not ~the occasional fan~; with Zac it's always many fans over the course of a shoot.

I'm just annoyed about how people can't understand that he's not in NYC to meet with fans but to film, and every fan interaction has to take a backseat to that. This is not a promo tour. And it doesn't mean he's not nice. It only means he's professional and his work has priority as it should be.

Sorry, end of rant.

I agree with you about the fans. I saw one yesterday who said he "wasn't nice today" because he didn't acknowledge the fans waiting outside the makeup trailer for him as he left to walk to set. Granted if I were that fan I'd probably be pretty upset, but he's also working so I hope I'd have enough sense to realize that. The sense of entitlement in this fandom really bugs me sometimes. </p>

Now I've heard some stories of him not acknowledging fans or picture requests when he's out in public or not filming too. My response to that is: He's human, he doesn't have to be "on" all the time. He's been more than accommodating with fans in the past, even after that whole mess in Dekalb during the AAP shoot. And quite frankly, i'd rather he do more visits for kids like Jessie Silver than sign a million autographs for the autograph seekers, but that's just me. He's a human, not a commodity and people need to chill.

ITA. I'm sure we're talking about the same person. I totally understand that fans are disappointed when they get ignored but it's just annoying that common sense and reason always goes out right of the window.

While we know that Zac denies pictures etc on other occasions too (and I don't have a problem with that either), I feel that particularly on filming locations the entitlement goes through the roof. Almost like they think because they've been waiting around for some time, it give them the ~right~ to Zac. Not that anyone asked them to come or stay for hours. Or promised anything.

Again, I understand disappointment but I often have to roll my eyes at the entitlement and consequent conjecture. Especially since we know that he tries to accommodate them at the END of his day most of the time and he just doesn't always want to be bothered during his day which I find totally reasonable.
The Writers Denmusewriter on December 17th, 2012 12:04 am (UTC)
Exactly, Bee. The thing that gets me too is the way these tweets from people who get ignored get re-tweeted or they get asked 20 questions about what happened, why he ignored them, etc. all it really does is give people who want nothing more than to tear Zac down (I could think of a few) more ammunition to do so

What happened with Dekalb ?
annabelle83 on December 16th, 2012 11:40 pm (UTC)
If I were visiting the set, I'd be content with seeing Zac in real life. They should understand that he can't greet fans before filming. It can be distraction to both him and the movie production. I think they have better chance of getting his autographs if they go to the set after the day's filming is done. Zac usually spends quite some time with fans after he finished filming.

Keep ranting. I don't know why they park the trailers where fans can insert themselves anyway. The Charlie St. Cloud director had the right idea, sent an assistant out each morning to negotiate with the fans: Keep quiet while we're shooting and Zac will come out after work to entertain you (kind of imposing on Zac, but he did go out and interact with fans for up to two hours each night).

It's an interesting phenomenon, that fans can come to think they actually know and "own" their fave celebs. From there, we move along the path to dangerous stalker.
Miranda gives everyone a chancemirandagirll on December 17th, 2012 09:46 pm (UTC)
Funny thing is even with Zac filming now, he's gone out to talk, take pictures with fans, etc AFTER he's finished for the day. People are clearly too entitled, but if they at least waited until after he was done filming for the day, they'd have a better outcome.

/still bitter about DeKalb too

He looks like a regular dude, not as glamorous star handsome.
Male audience more easily accept it.
Hmm ... He looks a lot like Logan for me. I like it
Migail MackMigail Mack on December 18th, 2012 04:21 am (UTC)
I think he looks really good.. i think his face looks fine not fat maybe sometime it just wasn't a good angle of sonething idk anyway. His mustache and beard looks hot like on the lucky one. i can't wait to see this movie. :)
