AWOD + TIWILY Updates
According to Deadline, Michael B Jordan joined the cast of Are We Officially Dating? and apparently Deborah Ann Woll has had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts:

Also, Variety has reported that Warner Bros. has lined up Shawn Levy to direct This Is Where I Leave You in place of Adam. At this time it is unknown if any of the original cast is still on board. I really liked Zac's character so I hope they can make it work.

YAY for Michael B Jordan. I loved him in Chronicle. That's sad about Deborah though. They could just like put True Blood filming on hiatus for a while so she can be in the movie.

TIWILY details from Geek Tyrant story:

"The project ended up being put on hold when Bateman and Shankman left the project. . . . According to Variety, Levy wants this to be the next movie he makes and plans to shoot it next summer. Shankman is still attached to produce the project."

Re: TiWILY
That was actually all in the Variety story linked above too. :)

That's a pity with Deborah; I'm curious who they will cast now instead. I thought she was an interesting choice for the role. As is Michael (btw, Deborah was his love interest unless roles got switched after announcement). It's cool that all 3 guys are actually the same age, that should make a very believable group.

As for TIWILY - while Shawn Levy isn't that great a director either, he still seems to be a tad better than Adam esp if you take the trajectory into account. Levy made some crap too but his last 2 movies seemed to be a step up, so there is hope he would continue that upwards trend with TIWILY. I liked Zac's character a lot so I hope he's still on board if they are really going into production next year. I guess it all depends on who will play Judd and in which direction Levy wants to take the movie. With Adam still on board as producer and WB in the background, Zac should have at least two champions, so I hope it works out.
