LOL at this 'Liberal Arts' Marquee

Also box office news for Liberal Arts. It hasn't done too spectacularly so I don't know how far it will expand really. There is a list of scheduled theaters here but that already seems to have changed somewhat.

Anyway, per BOM, it made $27,435 the first weekend at four theaters for a per-theater-average of $6,859. I'm not sure I think they did the best marketing with it? But oh well... hopefully most people can catch it on VOD. And those that have had the opportunity to see it have enjoyed it (and Zac), based on their tweets.

Their quote was stupid so I fixed it.

Yes, they are a US cable provider, and occassionally, i seem to recall seeing something about same day as theatrical release films, but it was only for a few specific films. I know that they have On Demand. There's even a button on the remote for that. But that is like for HBO or Showtime On Demand or even for movies that you can pay to watch, but they are movies that are out on DVD. I guess I'll have to call them and find out. I did send an e-mail to the local "indie" movie house and asked if they were gonna show it. They said there were no plans right now, but that they might. October calendar wasn't out yet. They did show MAOW there, so I'm hoping.
