'At Any Price': More info on TIFF and Venice
From ioncinema.com:
I had the chance to speak to TIFF’s Artistic Director and Programmer Cameron Bailey... we focused three titles from auteurs that the fest has supported in the past in Noah Baumbach’s Frances Ha, ... Derek Cianfrance’s The Place Beyond the Pines... alongside Ramin Bahrani’s At Any Price (which will be receiving it’s North American premiere after a Competition showing in Venice).

Eric is a big fan of Bahrani and his site is also pretty reliable so I think this, plus the info from Deadline's TIFF press release saying At Any Price has its North American debut in Toronto, basically confirms to me that Venice will be the world premiere, and even better, At Any Price will be in competition there which is AWESOME!

Also, there is a SUPER SUPER HQ version of the Zac still here.

I'm not very good at understanding spoken English because I've learned English mostly from reading books. So I can't provide you with exact transcript, but the guy in the video(TIFF artistic director and programmer) says that Ramin Bahrani understands American culture and its people better than anyone and his new movie At Any Price is a study about America like his previous movies. And he says At Any Price is about codes of honor and its myths and it's a beautiful movie. I'm not entirely sure if this guy already saw the movie(I think he probably saw the movie), but he seems very enthusiastic about the movie.

Thank you very much annabelle!
I don't need transcription, you answered all my questions. Especially in the last sentence. :) I was wondering, he gives the impression of a man who saw the movie or not? And you yourself answered the question. Thank you again! :)

You're welcome! :)

I really don't know if he has seen the movie, to be honest. I don't know how these film festivals work. Do they watch every movie submitted before deciding on official lineup, or do they just watch promotional clips from each movie? I just hope At Any Price and Zac's acting in it turn out great!

I hope so.
