for those who don't know, michelle is really good friends with mo, bahrani producer/zac's friend. they were all in cannes and hung out with zac there as well, so it wouldn't surprise me if they all flew back to the US together.

Idk if me liking his face less chubby makes me shallow but imo it just makes me have an opinion and a preference. I'm not less of a fan of him no matter the way his face is.

Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion but it is fair I think that if we're going to comment on the good (e.g. praise him for his amazing abs), we can also comment on the not so good. And, whether Zac likes it or not, a lot of his popularity rides on his looks and right now, people overall don't really like his face the way it is. It doesn't impact his worth as a person or whether he can be a good actor but it is what it is.

I think everyone here wants the best for him and I guess some of us (or at least I) think that his chubbier face could potentially also effect his work in the future if he's not careful with it. Hollywood is brutal and chiseled/strong jawline is considered manly and handsome there. That's entirely unfair but that's a reality he has to live in.

No I 100% I just found it funny we were even talking about it again when its been brought up in the past kinda a lot. Whatever, everyone has their own option on it. :D

Well, there are also lots of comments about his abs everytime he puts them on display. :D

Idk if it's been really discussed a lot but I guess it comes up again when his face is getting fuller than usual. Although personally, to me it's never been about his body weight; I understand it's somewhat connected though.

True. I guess I just feel kinda bad talking about his weight. You know like how the media pulls apart a females weight or whatever. Not the same here, but yeah, I still feel kinda bad. Thats all I meant by it.

"a lot of his popularity rides on his looks"

Like a milking stool, his career stands on three legs: talent, looks, charm.

"his chubbier face could potentially also effect his work in the future"

I don't know if this slight variation in his face could actually cost him parts, but as someone who has done portrait photography, I can say that his fuller face won't photograph as well. That's why I hated the TLO transformation and rejoiced when he trimmed back down. The camera loves those high cheek bones and sharp jaw line.

Idt it effect his roles right now; I'm just saying it ~might~ in the future if he doesn't take care of his face.

I think it's not a coincidence that most photoshoots this year have him all from a half-profile angle... since that is where you see it the least.

My main problem with the accusations leveraged against me (she responded to my post) is the grandiose assumptions she made and the reverse discrimination she displayed based on little more than a post and a picture, ie

1) She (that is, me) is criticizing Zac's weight.
2) All people who criticize weight are thin, shallow and superficial.
3) Therefore, she is shallow and superficial.

There are more logical fallacies in that syllogism than I can count. And she does not know me AND how many times have I said that I appreciate male beauty in all its forms?

Stereotyping me and shoving me in a box is something that really pisses me the heck off. For the record, my concern with Zac's weight has everything to do with health. I've been down that partying road before, and went down so fast that by the time I realized it, I was already under. I want to spare him from my mistakes. Working out, being healthy keeps me on track, and it seems to do the same for Zac.

I just felt the need to respond there as well since it all started from my initial comment.
