2012 Sundance Film Festival Announces Films in Premieres and Documentary Premieres Sections

Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the out-of-competition Premieres and Documentary Premieres sections of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival will be held January 19 through 29 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. The complete list of films is available at www.sundance.org/festival.

Liberal Arts / U.S.A. (Director and screenwriter: Josh Radnor) - When 30-something Jesse is invited back to his alma mater, he falls for a 19-year-old college student and is faced with the powerful attraction that springs up between them. Cast: Josh Radnor, Elizabeth Olsen, Richard Jenkins, Allison Janney, John Magaro, Elizabeth Reaser.

Now it's about keeping fingers crossed for good reviews and a distributor. :D

I think there is a good chance that both could show up imo. Although for Zac it might be "better" to have it spread out a bit more and one there and one at TIFF.

In the end, I'm just going to be happy if they turn out to be good movies and Zac gives a promising performance.

Awesome! I'm wondering if there's any chance he might go to the festival even though his part is small for the film.

He plays "a mystical hippie" in a party scene. He shot the whole thing in a day or day and a half, so it's definitely a small part.
