From Lexi, again:

Okay so... people want to talk about his face. I've never been as keyed up over changes in his face as other people have. And generally I don't even feel it is worth mentioning until we get to January-February 2011 levels of roundness, when his temples take over his eyes. But I do think there is something to be said when it might affect continuity and it might in this case. I still don't think it is as bad as some people do though.

Here is a chart for comparison...

The last one is worst. Though he also looks like ET with his neck retracted, so idek what is going on there.

But even in the one before, it is rounder, enough so that might affect the project. And that is kind of what bothers me. Like I think he should have, but even if he didn't realize or didn't think (cause sometimes we don't) that his face was changing... someone else around him, like his assistant or manager or someone, should've said something.

IDK why it changed, it doesn't take much even. He eats out a lot and and he drinks like most guys his age do. But it is worth noting that while I think he was being excessive at the beginning of the year and it really showed, recently he's a lot less Hollywood club mildew and really much more like normal young 20-something dude. This is especially true when he's been at work and out of LA the past few months -- he ate out regularly and went out for fun once a weekend. That said, bro you are almost 24, think about these things. Everyone knows his face is what changes first and most.

I'll be sad for him if it does affect how people perceive his success in this role. It is an exciting project and he needs all the cred he can get. And I'm sure Bahrani is under pressure since this is his first project with major stars, so he has a lot at stake too. If Zac loses points, either with critics, the public, or the director, on something so easily preventable, shame on him and shame on the people around him who are supposed to be looking out for him, his projects, his reputation, and his million-dollar face.

Looking at the chart, I don't see any real noticeable difference between the pics taken on Friday and the pics taken on July 19th . That last pic is bad, but like someone else said, it's also lit terribly. Unless it gets really bad, I doubt the average moviegoer is going to notice.

As for continuity, again, I don't see it being that much of a problem unless his face continues to get worse. If Bahrani has an issue with it, I'm sure he's spoken to Zac about it.

I don't think it's right to question his work, ethic, dedication, or professionalism because, like Cady said, he shows up, does his job well, and is nice to the fans. And to be fair, I think it's unrealistic to expect him to look exactly as he did two months ago. He spent a month in New Orleans where you can gain weight just by looking at the food, and he did go out some. All things considered, and considering how round I thought his face looked in the airport pics from a few weeks ago, I think he looks just fine.

But recall my remark regarding the LAX arrival photos - his billed cap blocked the overhead lighting; only light bouncing off the floor and walls could reach his face. This lighting couldn't highlight any of the modeling in his face.
