Bahrani cast update and sightings around town

From Deadline:
Kim Dickens has been cast in a lead role alongside Dennis Quaid and Zac Efron in Killer Films' Heartland, which revolves around a traditional father (Quaid) who wishes for his race-car driver son (Efron) to take over the family-run seed business in Iowa, a tale that includes racing and illegal goings-on. Dickens will play the mother, Irene.

I'm not sure that Heartland is an up-to-date name. It was called that in March but they had dropped the title by the end of April. So either they decided to use the name after all or it's old info. Hard to say since it isn't updated anywhere else, but perhaps it is in the recent Production Weekly. We'll have to wait and see. To me, it doesn't feel gritty enough to fit the story. This isn't a sweet story really.

Zac and Dennis have been hanging out in Sycamore and doing things that seem to be prep for filming. ~rehearsal~ if you will. I'm only including a few because tbh, it is really difficult to tell what is b.s. and what is legit and what is private or kind of their prep. But in summary, what seems to be legit, he's been to Walgreens, Kohl's, Dairy Queen, a showing of Bad Teacher, and I guess Walmart.

A few twitters and fb:

Eating together at a place called Cabana Charley's

LOL this dude all huffy(eta**) about a pic...

But on FB, so chill...

Later the cops apparently have to show up and they have to run...

And, if this is correct... he's driving around a Mitsubishi EVO, a car often modded for racing, fits his character of course.

Like this:

**ETA: for the record, Dan twittered at me and says he intended sarcasm.

It's too bad that most some of the town is so over-the-top in stalking him. Truer words were never spoken:
