So it definitely sounds as if he was there filming and, given the very brief amount of time he was on set, it had to be a fairly small role. After researching a bit, there are a couple possibilities including the guy that Elizabeth Olsen's character apparently ends up with.

I still don't totally get this, but whatever. Work = good.

Yesterday he was seen at a BBQ joint in the area. Later in the evening a couple people spotted him at Sky Harbor airport in Phoenix (I hate that airport... minus the United terminal which is old and tiny and fun!). He was presumably on his way home.
