Teen Wolf (blah blah blah) and eye spam
I really don't want to post this because a) it is ridiculous how much traction this kind of bullshit gets and b) I'd really rather keep Zac's eyes at the top of my blog.

So I'm compromising and posting some more eye spam to accompany this article which everyone and their mother is blowing out of proportion (AGAIN).

Australian movie site moviehole.net is saying that they bet Zac will be approached for the lead in WB's in development remake of Teen Wolf. This is another one of those ten-to-one it ain't happening things (and ten-to-one they just said it to get hits).

Pretty sure this would be on the bottom of Zac's list at the moment, but w/e I'm including it here just for the record.

moviehole.net - 'Exclusive : Teen Wolf Howls Again?'

This one won’t come as much of a surprise - a remake of the classic Michael J. Fox starrer “Teen Wolf” is in early development.

Warner Bros (who snagged the rights to the film series about five or six years ago) are currently out to writers, looking for the craftiest reinterpretation of Rod Daniels’ 1985 hit. They’re not quite certain ''which way they’re going to go'' - Me, I say go with ‘Son of Teen Wolf’! - but I’d say it’s pretty safe that whatever and whoever's script they go with will again tell the story of Scott Howard and his pesky hair prob. Not expecting anything too original here. But then, it's "Teen Wolf" - no need for too big or audacious an idea.

The original, released on the back of Michael J.Fox’s success in “Back to the Future” (God, they cashed in on it!), told of a basketballer (Fox) who, upon discovering he’s a werewolf like his father (the great James Hampton), finds popularity and notoriety... and the ability to slamdunk. The only person not excited to be losing ‘the old Scott’ is long-time best pal, Boof (Susan Ursitti).

Nobody is yet onboard to direct, and casting won’t begin until the studio decides on a script, but what’s the bet Zac Efron’s approached? Just a guess. Considering the WB are planning a big-time theatrical release here, it’s safe to say they’ll try and chase a couple of names for the main roles. Still a way's off though.

God, still remember going to see “Teen Wolf” for the first time. It was at a cinema at the Knox Shopping Center. I remember the day fondly – dropped out out the front of the theater with my brother, step brother and step-sister. Remember being quite taken-back by the ‘heavy breathing’ sequence that opened the movie – which, of course, was the purpose and motivation of the sequence. But mostly, remember loving every bit of it – the laughs, the Fox, the ‘Chubby’, the Coach’s three rules, the soundtrack (Wiiiiiiiinnnnn in the End!), which I have around here somewhere, and of course, the inimitable (though they tried by recasting the role for the sequel) ‘Stiles’, Scott’s carefree partyboy buddy. About a month later, I checked it out again – at a club that was screening the film on a movable mesh-screen. Ah, the 80s. How I want to go back.

UPN briefly flirted with a live-action “Teen Wolf” TV series in 2003, hiring Terry Hughes and Ron Milbauer to write the pilot for a potential series about a college kid (as opposed to a highschool kid) who discovers he’s got hairy palms. Didn't get to pilot.

More on the feature-film redo as we hear it..

My local newspaper's front page has a still from "Year One" with "WORST MOVIE OF THE YEAR" under it.

I thought of you. ♥

i've decided that rt.com rotten or fresh rating from a review is pretty much arbitrary. i've read some of the "positive" reviews on year one and they aren't really positive. so idk what rt thinks it is doing giving them positives. but w/e.

i'm torn because as much as i don't really like/get the michael cera thing, i do actually like jack black. this is weird perhaps since they both are seemingly one-trick ponies but cera's wimpiness just grates after awhile while jack black is more okay somehow. idk. call me crazy. so i'm sad for jack black but gleeful (even if it is mean) for michael cera.

i'm just jumping in because my sisters boyfriend is the irl michael cera. like, you would think it was an act but he's actually just that awkward and wimpy naturally. that being said, he was an asshole to my cat, so i think he (and michael cera by association) is a douchebag. and he thinks is taste in music is the shit and i hate pretentious music listeners with a passion in general.

call me a cat lady, idec.

The media needs to give Zac a bit more credit on his project selections.

this is my frustration with these rumors.

although, given his ties to JQ, i can see why they'd think he'd be looking for mainstream things. but he dropped footloose and while JQ is mainstream-ish, it is a black list 08 script so it should be better than your average remake, hopefully.

re: Wolf thingy, next!

Hmmm you know I think the Teen Vogue party is one of my favorite Zef looks to date. If not my very fave.

I was feeling his style so hard that night, especially the scarf.

I know! Like everything was perfect, the hair, the scarf, the jacket, the EYES! Guh. My fave, and he looked so much older. <3

Apparently I was all bout it bout it for "Teen Wolf" as a child. To this day any mention or re-airing of Teen-Wolf draws a collective groan from my parents/siblings due to my constant replaying of the film.

I'm not feeling the idea either way but not surprised it's being re-made.

i remember liking that movie too as a kid LOL

This is probably super cheesy but oh well, here goes. I used to have my mom get me KFC so I could watch the movie while I ate because the basketball coach is always eating KFC (or maybe he's just eating in general, but I know there's a scene where he's got like an entire bucket). I'm a dork, lol.
