The LA Times is just as gullible as everyone else
This is from an LA Times article today about Twitter:

"Every celebrity from Ashton to Zac Efron is Twittering, and it was even the subject on Oprah last month."

UMMM, hello? Fact check? Does anyone even do that anymore?

How many times does he have to say it?

Let's get Mark Milian to acknowledge and fix this error.

Please feel free to flood the comments here:

You can email him here: mark.milian @ latimes.com.

Or you can Twitter at him here:

Please share with him this URL:

Oh dude, I know! I run a fan community for the guy who played Pyro in the later two X-men movies. I went round and round with the internet until finally someone from his official site responded because people were getting duped by a poser and it was getting scary.

His girlfriend added the poser! I mean, it's not like you consult your SO before you sign up for myspace. And all of the information was relevant. His brother, his friends from high school.. They were all on his page and it wasn't him.

Scary stuff.

Not to mention how sometime this decade, a 15 year old almost got kidnapped by a Zac Hanson poser.

The internet is not safe for our rockstar fantasies or our children. It's a fandom responsibility to watch out for our own.. Especially when the fandom is made up of a lot of young fans who might know better, but want it to be true so much they don't care.

This is all so true. I mean people develop these really strange alternate online existences. It freaks me out on some of the zefron fan boards when some of them make up all this shit about knowing Zac. When does that turn to something really really dangerous? It really worries me.

It's terrifying. The more we/he/anyone says he doesn't have a Twitter, though, the better.
