Zac had many offers after the 17 Again London premiere but apparently duplicated himself so he could hang out with both Diana Vickers and Ginny Weasley, lol:
Zac Efron asks X Factor's Diana Vickers to sit with him at after-party
I'll bet X-Factor cutie Diana Vickers couldn't believe her luck - after being chatted up by Zac Efron.
Diana, 18, was singled out by the High School Musical star for a long chat at the aftershow party for the premiere of his new movie 17 Again.
It was a bit of a dismal turnout for Zac, 21, at the Haymarket Hotel in central London on Thursday. The only other celebs there were Dancing On Ice-ers Roxanne Pallett and Jason Gardiner.
But my spy said: "Zac sent a protection man over to invite Diana to join his table, she was with him for half an hour. He was being very charming." What will his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens make of it all?
EFRON SPELLBOUND BY POTTER STAR IN LONDON
One of HARRY POTTER's magical pals cast a spell on ZAC EFRON while the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL hunk was in the U.K. last week.
Efron left girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens behind in Los Angeles while he travelled across the Atlantic to promote new movie 17 Again in London - and struck up a fast friendship with redhead Bonnie Wright, who plays Ron Weasley's sister Ginny in the Potter films.
The pair met at the premiere on Thursday night (26Mar09) and was then spotted enjoying during a late-night liaison on the backstreets of London
One superfan, who followed Efron from the Leicester Square cinema, tells WENN, "It was about 11.30pm and he walked up to this car and waited for someone to get out. I didn't recognise her at first, but it was that girl in the Harry Potter movies. I saw her earlier on the red carpet and she was really sweet and signed lots of autographs."
The couple was then spotted walking off down the street before disappearing into a building, when Efron was spotted by a gang of female fans - but not before Wright had made sure Efron had her phone number.
The fan adds, "You wouldn't believe what she (Wright) did next. She stuck her hand in the back pocket of his trousers and grabbed his phone. She quickly pressed a few things on the phone and then placed it into his back pocket again.
"I think she was typing in her own number."
"All the fans were wondering what Vanessa Hudgens would think if she found out about what had happened."
Wright's London publicist has confirmed the actress was invited to the premiere, but she insists WENN's superfan was seeing things: "Bonnie went to the premiere because she was invited and wanted to go. She doesn't know him (Efron), she hasn't met him before and didn't speak to him at the premiere. They didn't meet up afterwards, as far as I am aware. There's no more to say really."
The late-night liaison came just a day after photos of a sad Hudgens dining alone in Los Angeles hit the Internet.
This has now morphed into:
Zac Efron's Spring Fling!
Hours after the U.K. premiere of 17 Again, Zac Efron hung out in a British pub with a local actress — while girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens moped alone back in L.A.!
The teen heartthrob hit his movie’s March 26 London premiere solo, but he wasn’t planning to spend the whole night alone.
Zac, 21, extended a special premiere invite to Bonnie Wright, 18, a sassy redhead who stars as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films.
Hours after the two walked the red carpet separately, they met up for a midnight rendezvous on the back streets of London and ended up at a low-key bar for a long, quiet date!
“It was clear they weren’t going to be coming out anytime soon,” an eyewitness tells Star. Does this spell the end for the couple known as Zanessa?
And we have an April Fools Day joke by Moviehole:
Three Men and a Baby remake!
Disney has set the ball rolling on – surprised it’s taken them this long – a remake of 80s hit “Three Men and a Baby”.
According to EntertainmentFix, the redo – which will again center on three swinging bachelors who are forced to change their ways when a baby turns up on their doorstep – will be written and directed by Jonathan Frakes and produced by Frakes' Goepp Circle Productions.
And who’ll be stepping into the crèche once occupied by Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg and Ted Danson?
Three of today’s most popular young actors, of course.
The site says Jonah Hill (“Superbad”), Justin Long (“He’s Just Not That Into You”) and Zac Efron (“17 Again”) are in talks to play Peter, Michael and Jack, respectively. Musician Taylor Swift is in final talks to play Sylvia Bennington , the baby’s mother. In this version, Sylvia would be an accomplished country music singer who decides to drop the baby off with her kindly former manager, Peter (Hill), whilst she goes on tour.
Production is set to begin in early August.
That one amuses me cause a couple of people picked it up as real. They must be blushing now.
The following could be true, but we'll classify it as rumor, to give this Roxanne person the benefit of the doubt:
ROXANNE PALLETT EMBARRASSED IN ATTEMPT TO MEET ZAC EFRON
Dancing On Ice flop ROXANNE PALLETT was left embarrassed this week when she tried to introduce herself to Hollywood heartthrob ZAC EFRON.
Former Emmerdale actress Roxanne, 26, made a beeline for hunky Zac, 21 at the premiere of his new movie 17 Again in London's Leicester Square on Thursday night.
But the High School Musical star's burly security clearly did not realise Roxy was more than a crazed fan and turned her away. My spy on the red carpet said: "Roxanne was desperately trying to get Zac's attention.
"She was clearly hoping to get a personal introduction to him.
"But his security were having none of it and told her straight to go away. It was pretty embarrassing."
And one last one. This one was words taken out of context and also changed.
Zac Efron: I'd love Vanessa Hudgens and I to be US Posh and Becks
Zac Efron is flattered that he and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens are compared to David and Victoria Beckham.
The High School Musical stars have dated since 2006 and have already become teen idols.
‘Vanessa and I would love to be like the US David and Victoria Beckham,’ Zac, 21, tells the Daily Mirror.
‘It's funny when we're compared to them, I just can't believe it. I totally love the way David dresses.’
