17 Again Soundtrack update
Amazon has updated the 17 Again soundtrack product description.

They added a track listing, but left off the artists. I see they wanted to challenge me. lol.

I tried figuring it out - some were obvious, some not so obvious. Comment with feedback or suggestions on my guesses and also tell me if you love or hate it. :)

On My Own Don't think it's Les Mis (unless it's the techno remix, lol), The Used probably, or maybe Lil Wayne or Three Days Grace (seems too heavy).
Can't Say No No idea, but maybe Helio Sequence or Jimmie Vaughan
L.E.S. Artistes Santogold
Naive The Kooks
This is Love PJ Harvey is my guess based on the rest of the tracks, but could be Kelly Rowland :\
You Really Wake Up the Love in Me The Duke Spirit
The Greatest Cat Power
Rich Girls The Virgins (I think...)
This is for Real Motion City Soundtrack
Drop Ying Yang Twins? Or a few others.
Cherish The Association, Kool and the Gang or Madonna? I'm guessing Madonna for the 80s thing
Bust a Move Young MC
Danger Zone Kenny Loggins (lol 80s) or maybe Gwen Stefani

Here is yt playlist based on the known ones plus a couple of my best guesses:

Mood: awakeawake

Hey I was just there to tell kenza off. Nothing serious.

Anyway, so Anna and I are the same person and associate Zef with dirty rap so...YING YANG YES? "On My Own" is like - I really think it's not Les Mis, unless it is supposed to be some sort of joke montage? The rest is nice, kind of indie but a little dated since the movie was done last year, I guess (re: Rich Girls, for instance). Surprisingly more somber music than I expected though - "The Greatest"? Does Mike start cutting...

BTW the youtube playlist thing is so hardcore, it makes my graph of his hair's descent look like nothing.

LOL, I won't tell mother, don't worry. I was not surprised by the response. I'm sure you weren't either.

I'm actually curious about that movie because the director did Camp, which I love, so it could be interesting.

Soundtrack... it is very indie. I was surprised a little bit tbh by that. And the playlist is all youtube's genius, I just found the songs. Your chart is way better.

I think her movie looks awful cute - it's obviously not serious fare at all - but it should be enjoyable anyway. Which actually seemed to be the response tbh - cute but bargain bin cute. IDK I enjoy teen movies.

But anyway!

I think "indie" doesn't really quite have the same ring in the hypem age anyway. I mean, everyone and their mom knows "Les Artistes." It's very much like a tracklisting for Gossip Girl, circa season 1 (which was when this was made, anyway, but the music must have happened later, which makes me feel that sort of "indie" but not because everyone knows these tracks by now this is deliberate) but then there is a bunch of slightly older, rockier tunes that confuse me a little bit and make it gel less than I expected.

this is true, indie is sort of like alternative. neither of them are really what they call themselves anymore.

i wonder what term we'll use next.

i'm sure the 80s stuff is appropriate to older mike stuff or w/e.

btw, the music was probably finished by june of last year when they finished the post-production.
