I love how "easy" it is to get the concept of the movie across even in 30 seconds.

The spot is nice. And I can't wait to see the entire Batman thing, esp knowing that it was improv.

I didn't know the Batman thing was improv. Anyway, Zac appears in top form, both physically and professionally.

"Anyway, Zac appears in top form, both physically and professionally."

But he filmed Neighbors before he went into rehab, or before the second rehab if you think he has entered twice.

Those famously anonymous sources reported that he was sometimes "glassy eyed" and "acted weird" on the set. I suppose he may have had good days and bad days.

Or, Neighbors may be the poster movie for method acting. He just stayed "in character" all the time. He didn't need to be sober to play a drunken party hound.

While I was using, I took an English exam so drunk I was blacking out intermittently and got an A. Robert Downey Jr was still a great actor in the midst of his addiction. Zac might have very well been able to turn out a great product even though he was using at this time.

That doesn't mean he needs to keep using though, lol.

So that's what's wrong with our schools! We need to lubricate the kids when those standard tests come around.

If you saw the 140 World Lit papers I am now grading (groan...) you would agree that they certainly couldn't do worse if they were intoxicated.

Being forced to serial read bad English papers is like being strapped down in your chair and forced to watch the worst movies one after the other. At some point you are ready to give the code to the nuclear bombs if someone will let you get up.

And now that I mention it, what are the worst movies ever made? I welcome the distraction while students torture me with their crappy writing...

Seth Rogen told how Zac improvised voice of Batman, and Seth was damn impressed with this.

Just to relieve the suspense, TAM was still playing in 68 theaters this weekend and took in $41,000. Box office gross has now pushed above $26 million. Woohoo!
