Zac's New House
TMZ reports that Zac bought a new house. They have more pics from the MLS listing but I will only post this one here:

It seems very nice and very private which hopefully keeps some of the super weird crazies and paparazzi from bothering him.

I'm glad he is changing venues. It is pretty common knowledge that old places and old people are probably the most common triggers to relapse. So I think this is a step on that path forward for him, this is a good change.

eta a p.s., if you happen across the address (or aerial pics or google map links) of this new house, please do zac a favor and don't spread the info around. it will probably become pretty common knowledge eventually, but think of the look of disappointment zac would bestow upon you if he knew you were the one to publicize it. js.

Ohhhh, it's a much prettier house. I'm glad he's getting a fresh start though.

Suprised this post isn't friends only lol, don't ask why it just popped into my head

i thought about making it friends only but i decided his efforts at really changing things in his life should be recognized.

what do you mean friends only? like people who are friends with you on here?

I didn't mean for it to sound critical, so I'm sorry. I agree re: his efforts at really changing things in his life should be recognized

This house is much better than the old one.

Love that this place actually looks like a home.

So happy and proud of him for getting a clean slate to things.

I'm glad he's really trying to leave his old lifestyle behind him, so I'm happy he got a new place.

"I'm glad he's really trying to leave his old lifestyle behind him"

Haha. Last night TMZ aired a segment on the history of his new house as a wild party site, comparing sales photos of the empty rooms with the same scenes when they were packed with revelers.

I think it is possible to talk about any old house in Hollywood. :)

I'm no expert on L.A. real estate, but this seems pretty nice for $3.9 million. Five bedrooms?

I hope he's not going into serious debt. A new house may help to separate from the past, but big mortgage payments and a lack of future bookings could also send him back to substance abuse.

he's made over 18 million in his career thus far, im pretty sure he's not broke. lol

"he's made over 18 million in his career thus far"

I hope that's true. But remember, his manager and agent take about 25 percent off the top, and the income tax rate is close to 40 percent on what is left - and he lives in California, where state taxes are no joke.

He has said, "I always live within my means," but recent events have caused me to begin doubting the continued validity of old statements about his manner of living. Am I bad?

Hmm Idk. I think he's sensible about it. He doesn't travel every other week but actually like a normal human being every now and then. He's not off on yachts etc all the time. He leads a normal life the way a 9-5 regular person would which is why I imagine he'd have money.

All true. But he's also an avid poker player and there are some big games in the Hollywood area.

He's always seemed pretty smart when it comes to handling his money so I'm sure he wouldn't buy a place like this if he knew he couldn't make the payments every month.

Plus, I'm sure he's got advisers that looked over his finances before purchasing this property.

I'm glad he's moving on too, but I thought that his old house was very cool. One of the Case Study houses, and a unique piece of modern architecture. Pretty significant historically.
